Following a bilateral meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and President of T\u00fcrkiye Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, both leaders oversaw the signing and handing over of MoUs between the Governments of Indonesia and T\u00fcrkiye at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java province, on Wednesday (2\/12).<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the meeting, we discussed various cooperations that are in line with the national priorities of both countries,\u201d President Prabowo said in his statement.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, President Erdo\u011fan, in a joint press statement, said that Indonesia and T\u00fcrkiye have mutually agreed to strengthen cooperation in several fields including defense, energy, and education.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have inked approximately 12 agreements, including agreements in the fields of energy, health, agriculture, defense industry, communications, and education. In the meantime, we have also received joint statements that we have signed together,\u201d President Erdogan said.<\/p>\n

Thirteen cooperation documents that have been agreed upon by the two countries are as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and Head of Religious Affairs of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on cooperation in the field of religious services and education;<\/li>\n
  2. Memorandum of Cooperation between Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye in the field of energy and mineral resources;<\/li>\n
  3. Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on cooperation in the field of higher education;<\/li>\n
  4. Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on cooperation in the field of health and medical science;<\/li>\n
  5. Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia and Secretariat of Defence Industries of the Presidency of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on strategic cooperation in the field of defense industry;<\/li>\n
  6. Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Trade of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on enhancing cooperation in the field of trade;<\/li>\n
  7. Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on cooperation in agriculture;<\/li>\n
  8. Letter of Intent between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on investment promotion and facilitation;<\/li>\n
  9. Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye on the establishment of a joint committee for industrial cooperation;<\/li>\n
  10. Joint venture agreement between Republikorp and Baykar for the manufacturing of a drone factory in Indonesia;<\/li>\n
  11. Cooperation protocol between Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) and Indonesian Public Television Broadcaster (LPP TVRI) in the field of television;<\/li>\n
  12. Memorandum of Understanding between Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) and Indonesian Public Radio Broadcaster Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) in the field of radio; and<\/li>\n
  13. Cooperation agreement between Anadolu Ajans\u0131 (AA) and Antara Indonesia News Agency.
