President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (03\/25) hosted President of the New Development Bank (NDB) Dilma Vana Rousseff at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

This visit is part of the efforts to promote strategic cooperation between Indonesia and international financial institutions established by BRICS countries.<\/p>\n

President Dilma Rousseff arrived at the Palace at 4.00 p.m. and was welcomed by the honor guard and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival at the front door of the Merdeka Palace, she was warmly welcomed by President Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n

Both leaders then walked to credential room for a photo session as a sign of respect and the strengthening bilateral relations. Afterwards, the Indonesian President and President Dilma Rousseff proceeded to the office for a courtesy call.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and full of collaborative spirit. After the meeting, both leaders delivered a joint press statement to the media.<\/p>\n

This visit also marked as an important sign of commitment of Indonesia in supporting the NDB\u2019s role as a development partner for developing countries, as well as to explore cooperation opportunities in multiple sectors.
