Belief in God must strengthen national unity. We are committed to ensuring that Indonesia\u2019s growth remains intact and that our natural resources are not sold at undervalued prices,\u201d President Prabowo stated during his opening remarks at the Economic Discussion at Mandiri Tower, Jakarta, Tuesday (04\/08).<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State underscored that the primary objective of his administration is to achieve national unity, uphold human dignity, and promote social justice. He also emphasized that the Indonesian economy must prioritize family values, as outlined in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not want the weak to be left behind, nor the poor to be forced to compete against the strong,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo went on to say that clear and transparent communication with the public is of paramount importance, noting that all decisions and policies during his tenure will be assessed based on evidence and performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m reluctant to speak without real evidence. That is my nature. I want to be judged by the results and the achievements I deliver. This is what I expect from my closest colleagues,\u201d President Prabowo said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, every policy established must be oriented toward long-term goals with thorough planning, and he expressed determination to advance Indonesia through strategic programs aligned with the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur foundation is the SDGs, with key priorities being food, energy, water, and all other related targets. Therefore, we must achieve our goals: self-sufficiency in food, energy, and water, as well as industrialization to add value to our nation,\u201d he concluded.
