The Indonesian Government has intensified diplomatic and humanitarian efforts in the Middle East, especially in response to developments in the situation in Palestine.<\/p>\n

This is one of the focal points of President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s visit to several countries in the region, including T\u00fcrkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan.<\/p>\n

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono stated that the President paid the working visit not only for bilateral meetings but also in-depth consultation regarding the geopolitical situations and humanitarian conditions in Palestine.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President is making state visits to several countries in the region of the Middle East and T\u00fcrkiye to consult about geopolitical situations and other issues,\u201d he said to the press on Thursday (04\/10).<\/p>\n

The Minister also reaffirmed Indonesia\u2019s consistent stance in supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people while underscoring that it rejects all forms of forced relocation of the people of Gaza.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the beginning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Indonesia disagrees with efforts to forcibly relocate the people of Gaza under any pretexts. Everything must be conducted voluntarily with the approval of all parties in Palestine,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Minister further pointed out Indonesia\u2019s readiness to actively provide humanitarian aid, including temporarily evacuating wounded victims, orphaned children, and students affected by the conflict to Indonesia, so long as it is requested and approved by all relevant parties.<\/p>\n

“If requested and necessary, Indonesia is prepared to take steps toward achieving peace, and regarding the readiness and continuity of humanitarian aid from Indonesia, we are ready to evacuate the people of Gaza,\u201d he said, adding that the aid reflects Indonesia\u2019s concern and commitment to humanity.<\/p>\n

Sugiono stated that the outcomes of President Prabowo\u2019s consultation with leaders in the Middle Eastern region would become the foundation for considering the next steps and mechanisms.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are still in consultation. The President is still consulting with leaders in this region. The results of these consultations will be considered in making the final decision. Everyone must be in agreement. If even one country disagrees, then there will be no deal,\u201d he said while stressing that all humanitarian actions taken are not intended to permanently relocate the people of Gaza but to express Indonesia\u2019s solidarity and concern for the people of Palestine.
