President Prabowo Subianto is launching the Indonesia Planting Movement (Gerakan Indonesia Menanam<\/em>\/Gerina) in Banyuasin regency, South Sumatra province, on Wednesday (04\/23).<\/p>\n

The President will depart from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta at around 08.30 a.m. Western Indonesian time for the working visit to South Sumatra.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in the provincial capital of Palembang, President Prabowo is set to leave for Banyuasin regency to launch the movement and participate in a collective planting activity with the communities.<\/p>\n

\u201cGerina will be a concrete action to plant, grow, and harvest crops involving all elements of the Indonesian society. This movement is expected to contribute to the national efforts to realize food self-sufficiency and reinforce the national food resilience,\u201d Presidential Secretariat Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media Yusuf Permana stated in a written statement.<\/p>\n

Following the launch, President Prabowo is slated to return to Palembang for his flight back to Jakarta.<\/p>\n
