President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (04\/29) met with Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani at Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe discussed the performance of state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The President expressed hope that the SOEs can evolve into robust institutions, given the significant capital investment from the state,\u201d Ahmad Muzani told the press.<\/p>\n

According to him, the President called for a comprehensive evaluation of SOEs directors, ensuring the institutions to contribute effectively to national economic development.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe public also expects that the management of SOEs\u2014including those under Danantara\u2014can significantly contribute to Indonesia\u2019s economic growth, particularly in elevating the welfare of the Indonesian people,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The discussion, Ahmad Muzani continued, also addressed humanitarian concerns regarding Palestinians affected by the conflict, particularly in Gaza.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. President expressed hope that by the time Palestine is free, those who bear the brunt of war trauma\u2014especially children, women, and people with disabilities\u2014can recover and return to their homeland,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Ahmad Muzani also stated that the President paid special attention to Palestinian medical personnel and educators and expressed belief that they should receive assistance to recover from trauma and improve their professional capacities, enabling them to contribute to rebuild Palestine.<\/p>\n
