President Prabowo Subianto (05\/08) invited Minister of Investment and Downstreaming\/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and CEO of Danantara Rosan Roeslani at the Merdeka Palace to discuss the progress of Danantara and future prospective investment projects.<\/p>\n

In his press statement after the meeting, Rosan Roeslani said that the meeting pointed out evaluation and assessment of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) under Danantara\u2019s management. He added that President Prabowo also gave directives regarding the election of SOEs directors.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, the elected leaders are the best brains, the best talents, according to the President, and they are selected on merit. Thus, they are the best candidates,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Rosan went on to say that President Prabowo underscored the importance of patriotism in choosing the country\u2019s best talents. \u201cIf they love the nation, they will not commit bad acts including corruption,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, Rosan also confirmed the postponement of the General Meeting of Shareholders and corporate actions of Non-Public State-Owned Enterprises. According to him, the measures are necessary to ensure that Danantara, as a shareholder, can properly and effectively oversee the operations of SOEs.<\/p>\n

He said that Danantara will continue to establish effective communication and coordination with the President to ensure that all its strategic projects align with the national development plans.
