President Prabowo Subianto together with French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron visited the Borobudur Temple at Magelang regency, Central Java province, Thursday (05\/29).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a great honor for us to welcome Your Excellency to this historic site\u2014a masterpiece of human civilization that has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site, rich in history and spiritual significance,\u201d President Prabowo said during the visit.<\/p>\n

The Head of State underscored that Indonesia, as a nation that upholds the values of Pancasila, greatly promotes tolerance and respect for all religions and beliefs. The visit, he added, reflected the deep friendship and shared humanitarian values between Indonesia and France.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndonesia and France are two great nations with long history, deep-rooted cultures, and ancient civilizations. We share the same spirit and values\u2014humanity, tolerance, respect for cultural heritage, and respect for all religions, beliefs, races, and ethnicities,\u201d President Prabowo stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe aspire to build a harmonious and peaceful world. We believe that only through friendship, solidarity, and collaboration can we create a better life for all,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo concluded his remarks by expressing optimism about the future of Indonesia\u2013France relations, especially in cultural exchanges and cooperation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe and am optimistic that our partnership will continue to flourish and serve as a bridge for artists, cultural figures, creative industry professionals, and community leaders from both countries,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n
