Lee Jae-myung on Monday (06\/23). The phone conversation of both state leaders has become an important momentum in strengthening bilateral relations that have been established between Indonesia and the Republic of Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that in the phone conversation, President Lee expressed appreciation for President Prabowo\u2019s attention and congratulations on his victory in the general election held on June 3, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Lee expressed gratitude for President Prabowo\u2019s letter of congratulations on President Lee\u2019s victory in the presidential general election held on June 3, 2025, and his inauguration on the day after,\u201d Cabinet Secretary Teddy said in his statement on Tuesday (06\/24).<\/p>\n<p>According to Cabinet Secretary Teddy, President Lee also expressed his intention to conduct a state visit to Indonesia. Additionally, both heads of state also had a discussion on the current global situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth state leaders also shared views on the current global situation, and they agree to continue and strengthen the partnership of both countries,\u201d Cabinet Secretary Teddy said.<\/p>\n<p>Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained further that the Republic of Korea is one of Indonesia\u2019s major partners in trade and investment sectors.
