President Prabowo Subianto Monday (06\/23) chaired a limited cabinet meeting at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency.<\/p>\n

In the fourth limited meeting that day, the President said that the Government is focused on efforts to accelerate the development of the Red and White Cooperatives as a national strategy to strengthen rural economies and streamline the distribution of essential goods to the people.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the fourth limited meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto on Monday (06\/23), we discussed ways to accelerate the development of the Red and White Cooperatives as part of the national effort to strengthen the rural economy and streamline the supply chain for basic necessities,\u201d Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in an official statement.<\/p>\n

According to Teddy, the cooperative is expected not only to bridge producers and consumers more efficiently but also to serve as a main distributor of key community needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to reducing the length of the distribution chain, the cooperative will play a strategic role in distributing essential goods such as fertilizer, gas cylinders, and various government assistance programs,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

To ensure effective and coordinated implementation, the Government has also established the Red and White Cooperative Task Force helmed by Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan and include representatives from relevant ministries and daily technical implementers.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of strengthening the program\u2019s execution on the ground, the Government has also formed a task force led by Coordinating Minister for Food, with members from ministerial elements and day-to-day operational teams,\u201d the Cabinet Secretary remarked.
