(Photo by: BPMI of Presidential Secretariat)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>President Prabowo Subianto lauded improvements in medical equipment in Indonesian hospitals and called on all related parties to prepare professional human resources to operate it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI deeply appreciate Minister of Health since the world\u2019s best and most advanced medical equipment have arrived in Indonesia. Now, we need to train experts to operate the equipment so that our people can have access to the best healthcare services,&#8221; President Prabowo said in his speech during the inauguration of the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Bali International Hospital in Denpasar city, Bali province, on Wednesday (06\/25).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, President Prabowo highlighted the urgent need to expand access to medical and healthcare education, including accelerating the establishment of new medical faculties, nursing academies, and specialist doctor education program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must increase the number of nursing academies and specialist doctor education programs effectively, while also revising outdated and overly complex procedures and regulations that can no longer address today&#8217;s challenges and issues,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State also underscored that Indonesia can no longer rely on outdated systems and methods that have proven to be inefficient. He instructed the Government and the related sectors to replace wasteful management practices with responsible and accountable systems.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia is a country that is striving to thrive. We must catch up with other nations. We cannot apply old and inefficient methods, as well as wasteful management practices. There is no room for those practices anymore. Indonesian people do not want such systems. The people demand an efficient government, quality public services, and accountability for every rupiah of public money,\u201d he firmly said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Bali International Hospital are solid proofs of breakthroughs that should be replicated in other sectors.
