President Prabowo Subianto Saturday (07\/12) received a warm welcome from the Indonesian diaspora upon his arrival at the hotel where he was staying in Brussel, Belgium.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was filled with emotion and enthusiasm as hundreds of Indonesian Diaspora gathered in the hotel entrance and the lobby waiting for the historical moment.<\/p>\n

Upon his arrival, the President was greeted by the people who were waving miniature Indonesian flags with enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

Two children, one of them was a six-year-old named Kalla, stepped forward to present a flower bouquet to the President.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to Brussel, Mr. President,\u201d said Kalla confidently.<\/p>\n

At the hotel lobby, the President was also welcomed by some high-ranking officials, including Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartanto, Minister of Investment and Downstream\/Head of the Investment Coordinating Agency Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indonesian Embassy in Brussel Muhammad Takdir, and Defense Attache at the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague Colonel CPM Ade San Arief.<\/p>\n

The President also took time to personally greet the diaspora community who waited his arrival.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so happy. We have been excited for a week, just waiting for the chance to take a photo,\u201d shared Linda and Reza.<\/p>\n

Linda also expressed hope that President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s visit would bring positive outcomes not only for people in Indonesia but also for Indonesian communities abroad.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are many hopes that this visit brings goodness for all Indonesians, including those living overseas, such as improved protection for Indonesian citizens abroad,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Selvi, a diaspora and a thyroid cancer stage 4 survivor, conveyed her deep gratitude to the Indonesian Government for the national health insurance program, while expressing hope that President Prabowo Subianto would continue to prioritize healthcare.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to thank the Indonesian Government. Thanks to BPJS (Indonesian Healthcare and Social ecurity agency), my treatment was covered, and I have been recovered. I hope President Prabowo will continue focusing on public healthcare, particularly through the BPJS, improving its service, and more,\u201d said Selvi.<\/p>\n

Maya Al Djufrie, a diaspora who has lived in Belgium for 24 years, also shared her joy over President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely happy. The visit was unexpected. The last visit was from President Joko Widodo several years ago, but it was limited. Alhamdulillah<\/em>, President Prabowo Subianto is here now. Even though it was unplanned and we only found out at the last minute, I am grateful to be part of this,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The warm and heartfelt atmosphere culminated in a group photo session with the diaspora community, who waved miniature Indonesian flags proudly on the hotel staircase.
