Forbes Media\u2019s Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, Steve Forbes, expressed his appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s leadership, in a meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (07\/23). In his view, strategic moves taken by President Prabowo in reinforcing economic reformation, deregulation, and strengthening strategic factors are crucial foundations for Indonesia to gain a global power position.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a kind of leadership focus which any country want to see, and today we are seeing it in Indonesia. So, we are optimistic. Sometimes it takes an outsider to appreciate the good things which are happening, rather than those who are living with them every day,\u201d Forbes said to media crew after the meeting.<\/p>\n

Forbes also believed that President Prabowo\u2019s leadership brings fresh air in creating a more conducive business climate, through among others deregulation efforts, increasing agriculture production, and eradicating corruption. According to him, those steps are the key to transforming Indonesia into one of major players in economic world.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe progress made by Indonesia, and more importantly, the progress that will be reached by Indonesia, will be a significant story at global level and an inspiration for other countries,\u201d Forbes said.<\/p>\n

Forbes furthermore expressed his great optimism about Indonesia\u2019s future under President Prabowo\u2019s leadership. \u201cThese are fascinating periods, and we are happy to be here to record and also provide platform for the world to see what we are witnessing \u2013 remarkable future for a great country,\u201d he said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n

In addition, Forbes also announced that Indonesia will host CEO Global Forum which will be held by Forbes Media on October, 14-15, 2025. This prestigious forum will bring together international business leaders, and President Prabowo will have the honour to act as the keynote speaker.<\/p>\n
