President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (07\/30) chaired a Cabinet meeting on the implementation of the people’s schools.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf said that the people’s school initiative officially commenced on July 14, 202, as a result of the collaboration and concerted efforts from various stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlhamdulillah<\/em>, due to the collaboration and support from ministers appointed by the President, the people’s school has finally started this year. Since July 14, it has been operating in 63 locations, and we continue to evaluate its progress during the orientation period,\u201d the Minister said.<\/p>\n

Saifullah also explained that the learning process would be expanded to 37 more locations this week or next week, followed by 59 more locations in September.<\/p>\n

The 2025 people’s school program is expected to provide education for more than 15,000 students.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the Minister also extended his appreciation to all stakeholders, including related ministries, for their support of the people’s school initiative.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu\u2019ti stated that the implementation of the people’s school is aligned with the existing curriculum, while expressing hope for the continued success of the program.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe continue to coordinate our efforts in the implementation. Throughout this orientation period, everything has proceeded smoothly.
