President Prabowo Subianto affirmed that the Convention of Science, Technology, and Industry Indonesia 2025 is a scientific forum that must be protected from political influence. The President made the statement to the press after delivering his keynote speech at the event, which was held at Sasana Budaya Ganesha (Sabuga), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), on Thursday (08\/07).<\/p>\n

In response to the media\u2019s inquiries about the closed-door sessions at the Convention, President Prabowo Subianto explained that the decision was made to allow participants to have more substantive and open discussions. The President stated that by holding sessions away from public view, participants could speak freely without fear of their views being distorted or spun for public opinions.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo that discussions can be more open. Don\u2019t twist it, don\u2019t politicize it. We\u2019re talking about science here. We’re talking about knowledge, science, and technology,\u201d he said. The statement reflected President Prabowo\u2019s commitment to protecting the integrity of scientific forums from the influence of practical political interests.<\/p>\n
