Indonesia\u2019s 80th<\/sup> Independence Day was marked on Thursday (08\/17) with the United Carnival, featuring 32 decorated parade vehicles.<\/p>\n

These vehicles, prepared by various ministries and government institutions, showcased the nation\u2019s development achievements, underscored the Asta Cita (eight missions) of President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s administration, and reflected the spirit of collaboration in the pursuit of an advanced Indonesia.<\/p>\n

The parade commenced at the National Monument, proceeded toward Hotel Indonesia roundabout, and concluded in the Semanggi area.<\/p>\n

The people attended the event with great enthusiasm, while carnival participants showcased their most creative ideas.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the food sector, the vehicle of Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and Ministry of Agriculture symbolized food self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n

Their parade vehicle was decorated with images of nutritional balance, with Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries emphasizing the strength of marine and fish proteins.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt reflects the President\u2019s priority program. We have the capacity to achieve food self-sufficiency,\u201d Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ministry of Home Affairs showcased three dimensions of its core duties on its decorated vehicle for the carnival, namely the fire department, digitalized service transformation, and the home administration\u2019s human capital development.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are visualizing these to support [and] realize national priority programs, especially the priority programs of our President, Prabowo Subianto Subianto. The visualization is shown in a three-dimensional videotron,\u201d Ministry of Home Affairs\u2019 General Affairs Head Asmawa Tosepu said.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ parade vehicle, reflecting the five pillars of Indonesia\u2019s diplomacy, from ASEAN cooperation to contribution to the UN, also attracted the carnival audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorld peace is ours, and it our duty to safeguard it. To that end, the roles of the people and stakeholders are essential. In this regard, Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to connect it to various cooperation efforts that we make in the ASEAN, the UN, and other countries,\u201d the Ministry\u2019s Acting General Secretary Heru Subolo said.<\/p>\n

According to Heru, the United Carnival served as a platform to convey messages of togetherness, showcase achievements, and express hope through decorated vehicles.<\/p>\n
