The Indonesian Government is preparing to distribute smart digital screens for schools in Indonesia. The technology is expected to support remote learning and equality in access to education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have started the distribution, but at the moment, we can only provide one smart digital screen for one school. Only one smart digital screen for one school. So, this year, we hope 330 thousand schools will receive the screens,\u201d President Prabowo said after inspecting People\u2019s Senior High School Margaguna in South Jakarta, Thursday (9\/11).<\/p>\n<p>According to the Head of State, through the technology, students can learn from the best contents, including animation and interactive materials, and remote learning facilitated by selected teachers. The President considered that the system can support regions affected by teacher shortages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will select the best teachers for each subject, maybe 20 to 30 best teachers. Each subject will be broadcasted from studios. So, in theory, these teachers can help all classes throughout Indonesia,\u201d the Head of State explained.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, President Prabowo mentioned that smart TV facilities can operate in an interactive way and enable direct monitoring of learning activities. The technology also creates opportunities for students and teachers to access materials at any time, including through cell phones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe students will be able to repeat the recorded lessons which can be accessed through cell phones. All contents are accessible through cell phones. When the teachers have finished teaching, the students can still access the materials taught. So, the learning process is interactive,\u201d the President added.<\/p>\n<p>The Government also prepares a sustainable program to improve teachers\u2019 quality through technology-based intensive training. The Head of State reaffirms the commitment that People\u2019s School development is not only a narration, but a real effort made every year to bring it to realization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the moment, we have 100 People\u2019s Schools. Next week, in two weeks, we will have another 65 schools. Next year, 100 more, and more.
