A solemn atmosphere filled the State Palace, Jakarta, when President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated several ministers, vice ministers, and agency heads on Wednesday (9\/17). After the inauguration ceremony, the high-ranking officials conveyed their impressions along with messages related to the responsibilities they undertake.<\/p>\n

One of them was the (newly appointed) Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, Djamari Chaniago, who emphasized his determination to continue serving tirelessly. \u201cUse the remaining years of life for the sake of the nation and the country. Use those remaining years to keep serving the nation and the country. There\u2019s no such thing as rest,\u201d he said to the media after the inauguration.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the (newly appointed) Minister of Youth and Sports, Erick Thohir, underscored the need to balance the focus of nurturing youth and propelling Indonesia\u2019s sports sector. On sports, Erick highlighted its power as a unifying force for the nation and an instrument of international diplomacy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cSports must unite our nation. Sports represents Indonesia on the global stage. Thus, we must enhance our dignity, good reputation, and our greatness as a country,\u201d said Erick.<\/p>\n

The newly appointed Head of the Government Communication Agency, Angga Raka Prabowo, emphasized that his office will strengthen coordination and communication synergy across ministries and agencies. He stated that the transformation from the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) into the Government Communication Agency is a strategic step to improve the execution of government communication.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not a new agency, but a transformation from the PCO. And this is also in line with my role in the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, so we will strengthen communication (strategy) to ensure all of the President\u2019s programs are delivered effectively to the public,\u201d said Angga.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Angga emphasized that the agency he leads also functions as a two-way bridge. \u201cWe also serve as a bridge as we also listen to public voices expressed in the media. And most importantly, we ensure that all of the President\u2019s policies and directives, as well as his programs are coordinated, aligned, and synchronized across ministries and agencies, and also with media,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Presidential Chief of Staff, M. Qodari, affirmed that his office will carry out its mandate in accordance with the Presidential Regulation, particularly in monitoring and evaluating the Government\u2019s priority programs.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom now on, God willing, the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) will focus inward and forward,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n

This inauguration was not merely a change in personnel, but also a symbol of a collective commitment of the Red and White Cabinet to work wholeheartedly for the nation’s interests. From a spirit of service to the strengthening of public communication, each official affirmed their readiness to support President Prabowo\u2019s vision of building a stronger, more sovereign, and more prosperous Indonesia.
