President Prabowo Subianto returned home after concluding a series of overseas visits to four strategic partner countries, namely Japan, the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

The Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft carrying the President and delegations landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, on Saturday (09\/27) at 15.30 Western Indonesian Time.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, President Prabowo was welcomed by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir, Vice Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo, Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Muhammad Herindra, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) General Agus Subiyanto, and Deputy Chief of the National Police Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo.<\/p>\n

These visits marked a crucial momentum in strengthening Indonesia\u2019s cooperation in diplomacy, economy, defense, and international relations. In his remarks, President Prabowo stated that the visits were productive and yielded significant milestones for Indonesia.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank God, it was quite a long journey. But I believe it was beneficial and productive. We received warm receptions everywhere, and, thank God, the meetings at the UN were very productive,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n

In New York, the President delivered Indonesia\u2019s stance at the 80th<\/sup> Session of the United Nations General Assembly. He noted that the positive response from world leaders opened opportunities for concrete measures on global issues, particularly on Palestine.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully, we will have a breakthrough over the next few days. We pray for that. I see goodwill from many parties. We urgently need a ceasefire for the people of Gaza and a substantive resolution. So, I believe this visit was fruitful,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

During his visit to Canada, President Prabowo witnessed the signing of the Indonesia-Canada Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (ICA-CEPA), a long-negotiated free trade agreement. \u201cThis is also a breakthrough. We finalized one with Europe after 10 years, and now with Canada after several years. A breakthrough indeed,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n

In the Netherlands, President Prabowo was received by King Willem-Alexander and Queen M\u00e1xima at the Huis ten Bosch Palace, Den Haag. He expressed appreciation for the Netherlands\u2019 decision to return 30,000 historical artifacts to Indonesia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe this reflects the goodwill of the Netherlands in maintaining good relations with us. The Queen is also a finance expert and will visit Indonesia on November 25 to hold discussions with our financial experts. We aim to support financial literacy for our people who are still not well-versed in it, with assistance from the UN,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the President also shared that several heads of state personally reached out to express appreciation for Indonesia\u2019s stance on global issues, as conveyed in his UN address. \u201cYes, several heads of state called me. Some even came in person. They were impressed by Indonesia\u2019s position, which truly seeks a common ground.
