President Prabowo holds a meeting with a number of government officials at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (11\/05).<\/p><\/div>\n

President Prabowo Subianto and a number of government officials Wednesday (11\/05) discussed strategic measures to maintain national political stability, strengthen economic growth bases, and boost domestic and foreign investments.<\/p>\n

According to Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, the President during the meeting also underscored the importance of interministerial collaboration and synergy to create a favorable and fair investment climate.<\/p>\n

The President, Teddy added, also asserted that a remarkable national development can only be achieved through cross-sector cooperation which will, in fact, strengthen each sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President emphasized the importance of synergy among institutions in creating a healthy, fair, and sustainable investment climate to achieve progress and prosperity for all the people of Indonesia.\u201d Teddy said.<\/p>\n

The meeting also affirmed the Government commitment in strengthening coordination across ministries and institutions, as well as ensuring that the objectives of Indonesia\u2019s national economic policy remain solid, stable, and oriented toward the people\u2019s welfare.<\/p>\n

Also joining the meeting were Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Investment and Downstream\/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning\/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, and Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
