President Prabowo Subianto expressed appreciation for the commitment and hard work of all parties involved in the construction of the Lotte Chemical Indonesia (LCI) plant in Cilegon city, Banten province.<\/p>\n

In his remarks on Thursday (11\/06), the President emphasized the importance of maintaining government integrity and creating a clean, transparent, and fair investment climate.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thank you all, and I thank my assistants who have worked well and want to continue this. They have set an example for future generations of a clean government that is free from corruption so that we can carry out massive development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also stressed that grand national development can only be realized with trust which gained both from the public and the international community. In the investment sector, he highlighted the role of foreign investments which bring great benefits for Indonesia’s economic growth.<\/p>\n

\u201cLotte is probably one of the largest companies in the world with assets of US$100 billion, and they invested Rp65 trillion in our country. I am proud of this achievement and the inauguration of LCI, thank you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, President Prabowo also invited all parties to support mutually beneficial cooperation between Indonesia and foreign partners. The Head of State emphasized that the key to successful investment lies in mutual trust and legal certainty.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is based on trust. If we are consistent with truth, goodness, order, and fairness, enforcing the law based on rules and legal certainty, these will create trust from all parties,\u201d said the President.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith trust, an open nation like ours\u2014a nation that needs trade, needs good relations with all parties\u2014 will quickly move towards prosperity,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Closing his remarks, President Prabowo again expressed pride and hope that this strategic project will bring great benefits to the people of Indonesia.
