The motorcade carrying President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan makes its way slowly toward the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Friday (11\/14).<\/p><\/div>\n

Following their departure from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta on Friday (11\/14), the arrival of President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein at the Merdeka Palace was not merely a ceremonial state event for several junior high students who welcomed both leaders.<\/p>\n

The arrival became a memorable moment that strengthened the sense of pride and connection between the leaders and the people, which was reflected in the students\u2019 cheers, bright smiles, and heartfelt stories.<\/p>\n

As the motorcade carrying President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived, with the windows of the presidential vehicle opened, the two leaders waved to the crowd and the students erupted in joyful cheers as they embraced this historic moment.<\/p>\n

Abid Naufal, a student from state junior high school SMPN 18 Jakarta was visibly excited as he recounted the moment.<\/p>\n

According to him, seeing President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein up close was an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the President, I hope he remains healthy and lives a long life. And I hope His Majesty (King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein) visits Indonesia more often,\u201d Abid said after watching the presidential ceremony from the National Monument area.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Silvi, a student from SMPN 5 Jakarta, was equally enthusiastic. The most memorable moment for her was when President Prabowo and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein opened the car window and waved to the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was thrilled because it was my first time seeing them. It\u2019s usually from far away, and we only see them on social media. So, it felt special to see them in person today,\u201d Silvi said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n

Echoing the same sentiment, Silvi also expressed her sincere hopes.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the President, stay strong and continue fighting for the people,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

From another side of the crowd stood Sienna, an Australian visitor who described the welcome as an extraordinary moment. She shared that Indonesia has become her second home.<\/p>\n
