President Prabowo Subianto on Monday (11\/17) officially launched the \u201cDigital Learning for a Smart Indonesia\u201d program at state junior high school SMPN 4 Bekasi, West Java province. The launch was streamed to 1,337 schools in 38 provinces, marking a milestone in digital learning service equality throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n

Upon his arrival at the venue, President Prabowo was welcomed by some cabinet ministers, Governor of West Java Dedi Mulyadi, and the \u00a0of SMPN 4 Bekasi, Sungkawati. The students enthusiastically welcomed President Prabowo, showing their drum band skills, singing the national songs, and waving the national flag.<\/p>\n

The President also visited a classroom and enjoyed the Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) technology. He witnessed how technology could improve the learning process to be more interesting, interactive, and adaptive for students.<\/p>\n

On his remarks, the President expressed his appreciation to teachers, educators, and all parties who are actively involved in digital learning improvement. He expressed hope that the program would support students to learn more effectively and open wider access to knowledge.<\/p>\n

\u201c75 percent of schools in Indonesia have received interactive panels. Alhamdulillah<\/em>, these panels will help all students in Indonesia to study better, more enthusiastically, faster, and get more access to knowledge, materials that are needed,\u201d said the President.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu\u2019ti reported that this program is a fulfilment of President Prabowo\u2019s commitment that was made during the 2024 National Teacher\u2019s Day commemoration and an implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 7 of 2025 on the Acceleration of School Development, Revitalization, and Learning Digitalization, and President Regulation No. 79 of 2025 on the Update of the 2025 Government Work Plan. This program is designed to ensure that every school \u2013 whether in city centers or in the most remote areas \u2013 receives access to high-quality, technology-based education.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will monitor and evaluate the program at schools that receive the IFP. There have been significant improvements in learning that is more fun, exciting, and achieves higher school attendance,\u201d said the Minister.<\/p>\n

He also reported that as many as 172,550 panels have been distributed as of November 2025, and the other 43,022 are in the process of distribution.
