The Government continues to intensify efforts to speed up disaster response in affected areas by deploying large-scale air support.<\/p>\n

In a written statement, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that a total of 11 helicopters have been deployed from Jakarta to the disaster-affected regions.\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of today, the Government has dispatched a total of 11 helicopters from the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) from Jakarta to disaster-affected locations,” Teddy wrote in his statement, Saturday (11\/29).\u200b<\/p>\n

He also noted that nine helicopters have been on site since November 26, 2025, simultaneously carrying out aid distribution operations and monitoring the disaster\u2019s impact.\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cNine helicopters have been in position since November 26, 2025, and two additional helicopters flew from Jakarta to Aceh this morning,\u201d he stated.\u200b<\/p>\n

Teddy went on to explain that all helicopters are dedicated to continuous logistics distribution operations, particularly to the most remote areas and regions cut off from land access, and that all air operations prioritize safety factors and weather conditions.\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cThese helicopters are flying around the disaster sites to continuously distribute logistics, especially to the most areas and regions cut off by damaged land routes, while constantly monitoring weather conditions as a primary consideration in these disaster response efforts,\u201d he emphasized.
