This step forms part of the Government\u2019s efforts to eradicate corrupt practices and the plundering of state assets that have persisted for decades.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe this can be described as only the tip of the iceberg of the losses suffered by our nation and state. Such deviations have been taking place for years, even for decades,\u201d the President stated in his remarks at the ceremony for the handover of the performance report of the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force\u00a0(Satgas PKH) and the 2025 state financial recovery, held at the Main Building of the Attorney General\u2019s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta, Wednesday (12\/24).<\/p>\n<p>Since receiving the mandate of the people, President Prabowo has been resolute in his determination to fight corruption without exception. This commitment has been realized through the establishment of the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force\u00a0(Satgas PKH) pursuant to Presidential Regulation Number 5 of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not hesitate. Make no exceptions. Do not be swayed by lobbying from any party whatsoever. Enforce the regulations, safeguard state assets. That is my duty. And you have carried it out well, in an orderly manner, in accordance with the provisions and the law,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, President Prabowo conveyed that the value of state losses recovered thus far is not yet commensurate with the actual potential losses. \u201cAs I said, this is only the tip. In fact, if we study it carefully, our losses are extremely large. If we examine them properly, perhaps hundreds of trillions in penalties should be paid,\u201d the President remarked.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, the President also stressed that the state must not continue to suffer from the leakage of its wealth. The Government is determined to persist in its efforts to safeguard state assets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to work, we will continue to work for the people, and the people will feel and see what we are doing.
