President Prabowo attends the Mujahadah Kubro for the 100th Anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) held at Gajayana Stadium, Malang city, East Java province, Sunday (02\/08).<\/p><\/div>\n

On the second day in East Java province, President Prabowo Subianto attends the Mujahadah Kubro (a large-scale Islamic gathering) for the 100th Anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) held at Gajayana Stadium, Malang city, East Java province, Sunday (2\/8). The President\u2019s attendance at the event reflected the symbol of synergy between the Government and ulemas in facing national challenges amidst the global dynamics.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of thousands of NU congregation welcomed President Prabowo who arrived at the venue at around 06.50 Western Indonesian Time. As he arrived, the Head of State greeted the participants coming from a number of cities\/regencies in East Java province who gathered at the stadium since last night.<\/p>\n

Al-Qur\u2019an verses were recited as the event began, adding a solemn atmosphere to the event. President Prabowo gave his appreciation to the recitation afterwards.<\/p>\n

In addition to that, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to the warm welcome offered by the NU congregation attending the gathering, which serves as a historical reflection on NU\u2019s role in the nation\u2019s journey. Furthermore, in the midst of the NU congregation during the important moment, the President felt the calmness, the spirit of unity, and hope for a just nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I am in the middle of Nahdlatul Ulama congregation, I feel happy and uplifted, because I feel the calmness, I feel the thrill of you, brothers and sisters. I feel the spirit of unity, solidity, and a spirit to uphold peace. I feel the hope for a just nation,\u201d President Prabowo said in his remarks.<\/p>\n

The President\u2019s attendance in the event is deemed not only a symbolic attendance, but it was substantial, showing a close relationship between NU and the state. \u201cIt reflects the unity of the Government and ulemas, which is an important asset for the nation to reach glory in the future,\u201d said the Redional Board of NU in East Java province KH. Abdul Hakim Mahfudz.<\/p>\n

The solemn atmosphere continues to resonate the anniversary event as the participants listened to the advices given and jointly prayed.
