President Prabowo leads a dialogue with police officers regarding MBG Program at Palmerah, Jakarta on Friday (02\/13)<\/p><\/div>\n

A warm dialogue via video conference between Prabowo Subianto and representatives from several Regional Police Offices (Polda) across Indonesia marked the inauguration of 1,072 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG), 18 Polri Food Security Warehouses, and the groundbreaking of 107 SPPGs of Polri at Palmerah district, Jakarta, on Friday (02\/13).<\/p>\n

From Bekasi, the Metro Jaya Regional Police reported the development of a raw material supply chain ecosystem for SPPG in Pantai Harapan Jaya village, Muara Gembong district. On 49 hectares of land, integrated livestock farming has been developed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ecosystem area initiated by the Metro Jaya Police Chief since September, 15, 2025 through a land-use cooperation scheme consists of fish, shrimp, laying hen, and goat farmings. On the 49-hectare site, today we conducted a grand harvest of 108,000 tilapia and milkfish, 600,000 tiger and vannamei shrimps, 1,000 laying hens, and 100 goats, which will be distributed to 57 SPPGs under Metro Jaya Regional Police,\u201d a representative stated.<\/p>\n

The President expressed his pride and happiness upon witnessing firsthand the established food ecosystem. According to him, this initiative not only strengthens food security but also supports children\u2019s nutrition and creates employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very happy today. I am very proud. Earlier I may have mentioned this in my speech, but now I see it directly\u2014this is extraordinary. This will secure all of us, secure our food resilience, help our people, and improve the nutrition of our children. This is something extraordinary, something very important,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n

The same spirit came from eastern Indonesia. The Deputy Chief of West Papua Regional Police reported the construction of eight SPPGs, including six in remote and underdeveloped (3T) areas. In Wamesa village, Kaimana regency, construction required extraordinary effort due to geographical challenges and extreme weather. Material distribution must pass through land and sea routes, taking 40 to 60 minutes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are preparing the operationalization of these 3T SPPGs by organizing the supply chain from local sources such as vegetables, fish, venison, and fruit, and partly from outside the region such as Surabaya, including rice, chicken, eggs, and milk. Hopefully, the SPPG here can operate well and serve the entire community,\u201d said the Deputy Chief of West Papua Regional Police.<\/p>\n

Prospective beneficiaries in Wamesa village\u2014comprising kindergarten and elementary school students, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers\u2014are awaiting the operational launch of the MBG kitchens. Local students expressed gratitude and hope that the program would soon be implemented in their school.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you, Mr. President, for building the MBG kitchen in our village. We are waiting for MBG at our school, SD YPK Betlehem, Wamesa, Kaimana regency. Thank you, Mr. President,\u201d the students said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n

From Kalimantan, the South Kalimantan Regional Police reported the construction of 35 SPPGs, including 10 in remote areas and Islamic boarding schools. Food safety management is conducted comprehensively, from allergen detection and health supervision by police doctors to waste utilization into eco-enzymes and livestock feed.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Central Java Regional Police recorded the highest number of SPPGs among regional commands. SPPG services have also been established in Islamic boarding schools and in flood-affected areas, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to communities in need. From East Java province, the Regional Police Chief reported the inauguration of the Police Food Security Warehouse in Mojokerto city, serving as the first dedicated corn warehouse in the province. This facility strengthens price stability and food availability through professional management in cooperation with State Logistics Agency (Bulog).<\/p>\n

President Prabowo reiterated that national stability is highly dependent on food security. Concluding the dialogue, he once again expressed his pride in the Police for working in remote and challenging areas.<\/p>\n
