President Prabowo arrives in USA on Tuesday (02\/17)<\/p><\/div>\n

Prabowo Subianto arrived in the United States on Tuesday, (02\/17), at 11:55 a.m. local time. The Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft carrying the President and his delegation landed at Joint Base Andrews, Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo was welcomed by Indonesia\u2019s Ambassador to the United States, Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo, Indonesia\u2019s Defense Attach\u00e9 in Washington Air Marshal E. Wisoko Aribowo, and Maintenance Group Commander Gary Charland. Following the arrival ceremony, President Prabowo proceeded directly to his hotel, where he will stay during his visit to Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, in a written statement, explained that during this visit President Prabowo is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. The meeting will focus on strengthening Indonesia\u2013United States relations and strategic cooperation in various economic sectors through negotiations and trade agreements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis visit is part of President Prabowo\u2019s active diplomacy to enhance economic value chains and boost domestic industrial productivity,\u201d wrote Cabinet Secretary Teddy.<\/p>\n
