The Government has renovated more than 16,000 schools and toilets in the first year of its administration to provide a more adequate, healthy, and safe learning environment for students in various regions.<\/p><\/div>\n

President Prabowo Subianto has once again emphasized that every step and policy taken by the Government in developing the nation must place the interests of the people first.<\/p>\n

According to the President, this principle underpins the Government\u2019s consistent presence and unwavering commitment to serving the public.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs President Prabowo Subianto has stated, the Government will not leave its people to face difficulties alone. The Government is present, working, and standing with the people,\u201d Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in a written statement Friday, March 13, 2026.<\/p>\n

According to Teddy, this commitment is reflected in a range of programs and policies whose benefits can be directly felt by people across all levels of society.<\/p>\n

These efforts include accelerating development and improving social welfare, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Government continues to ensure that the state\u2019s presence is felt at the most local level, in villages, sub-villages, and neighborhoods. Through various programs to accelerate development, distribute infrastructure more evenly, and improve welfare, efforts are being made to ensure that these benefits reach all Indonesians,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Teddy also highlighted several tangible achievements of government programs implemented during President Prabowo\u2019s first one and a half years in office.<\/p>\n

To support the education sector, he noted that the Government built 218 suspension bridges in just two and a half months to provide safer access for children to reach their schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo now children can cross rivers on their way to school more safely, without having to take off their shoes,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

The Cabinet Secretary added that the Government is also renovating a number of schools and sanitation facilities in various regions across Indonesia to create a proper and healthy learning environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe renovated more than 16,000 schools and toilets in the first year of this administration to provide a more suitable, healthy, and safe learning environment for students in various regions,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

In addition to promoting the development of physical facilities to create a safe and comfortable learning environment, Teddy noted that the Government is also working to build a safe and healthy digital environment for children through the implementation of the PP TUNAS (Tunggu Anak Siap\/Waiting for Children to Be Ready) initiative.<\/p>\n

The Government is also continuously strengthening regional economic growth through the Gentengisasi program, which replaces vulnerable roofs with better-quality tiles while stimulating local industries, as well as through various community empowerment initiatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Gentengisasi program is an effort to strengthen local MSMEs while at the same time driving regional economic growth. A large-scale shrimp harvest on 200 hectares of land, involving inmates in the Nusakambangan and Kendal prisons, is another example of empowerment and productive development,\u201d Teddy added.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Government is also present in the social and religious life of communities through various forms of support, including in Aceh.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are strengthening social and religious life, among others through the distribution of 70,000 copies of the Quran and the provision of 3,000 cows for the Meugang tradition in Aceh,\u201d Teddy said.<\/p>\n

With these various ongoing programs, the Government is striving to ensure that the presence of the state is truly felt by all Indonesians by driving development from the village level, strengthening public welfare, and bringing hope to even the most remote corners of the country.
