President Prabowo Subianto celebrated Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijr through a series of meaningful activities, including joining takbir night in North Sumatra province, performing Eid prayers in Aceh, and hosting a public gathering in Jakarta.<\/p>\n

The President also reached out to leaders of several Muslim-majority countries via telephone.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter spending takbir night in North Sumatra, performing Eid prayers in Aceh, and meeting the public at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, President Prabowo Subianto also maintained kinship by telephone with leaders of Muslim countries during the Eid festivities,\u201d Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in a written press release on Sunday (03\/22).<\/p>\n

For the record, President Prabowo Subianto has contacted several world leaders, namely:<\/p>\n

  1. President of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan<\/li>\n
  2. Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif<\/li>\n
  3. King of Hashemite Jordan, King Abdullah II, and<\/li>\n
  4. Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Teddy added that President Prabowo Subianto plans to continue communicating with several other heads of state in the near future, noting that additional leaders will be contacted once confirmation is received from their respective country.<\/p>\n

    According to Teddy, this silaturahmi<\/em>, while rooted in the Eid al-Fitr tradition, also carries strategic significance for Indonesia’s international relations.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThis silaturahmi<\/em> reflects close brotherhood and cooperation among Muslim countries and helps strengthen bilateral ties amid Eid atmosphere,\u201d Teddy wrote.<\/p>\n

    This occasion underscores that Indonesia is not only the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation but also a bridge of unity, conveying messages of peace, cooperation, and hope to the Islamic world.
