President Prabowo Wednesday (03\/25) meets several Red and White Cabinet ministers at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province.<\/p><\/div>\n

President Prabowo Subianto, together with Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry\/Head of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, and several Red and White Cabinet ministers, discussed efforts to accelerate Waste to Energy (WTE) development in various parts of Indonesia during a meeting at the President\u2019s private residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province, Wednesday (03\/25).<\/p>\n

\u201cDanantara Head Mr. Rosan Roeslani reported on the progress of the Waste to Energy (WTE) programs across Indonesia, particularly in major and densely populated cities such as Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, Bali, and other cities in Indonesia,\u201d said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement.<\/p>\n

Teddy also explained that the program is expected to provide a strategic solution to the ongoing waste management challenge, while also contributing to the development of sustainable alternative energy sources.<\/p>\n

The Cabinet Secretary added that President Prabowo Subianto has urged the Central Government to take immediate and coordinated action to tackle regional waste management issues.<\/p>\n

The Head of State, Teddy added, also expressed hope that long-standing waste piles can be swiftly cleared and converted into energy sources, particularly electricity.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Prabowo has called on the Central Government to take swift action to resolve the long-standing waste management problems in the regions by cleaning up accumulated waste and converting it into energy, especially electricity,\u201d Teddy said.<\/p>\n

The decision highlights the Government\u2019s policy direction to develop a modern, technology-based waste management system, while strengthening national energy security through the use of environmentally friendly domestic resources.<\/p>\n

Through an integrated downstream processing approach, the Waste to Energy program is designed not only to tackle environmental challenges but also to create economic opportunities, generate employment, and promote a clean, more sustainable future for cities across Indonesia.
