Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that President Prabowo\u2019s state visits to Japan and the Republic of Korea resulted in concrete achievements in the form of business cooperation commitments with very significant value.<\/p>\n

In his written statement on Thursday (4\/02), Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that the total value of business agreements secured from both countries reached US$33.89 billion, equivalent to approximately Rp575 trillion.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom Japan, business commitments worth US$23.63 billion, or around Rp401.7 trillion were secured, while from the Republic of Korea [Indonesia secured] around Rp10.26 billion, or about Rp174 trillion. Thus, the total amount is around US$33.89 billion, or roughly Rp575 trillion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to him, this achievement demonstrates the high level of global investors\u2019 confidence in the direction of Indonesia\u2019s economic policy under President Prabowo\u2019s leadership, particularly in promoting industrial downstreaming, strengthening energy resilience, and developing key national strategic sectors.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Cabinet Secretary emphasized that President Prabowo\u2019s direct involvement in dialogues with business leaders was a key factor in driving these agreements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President was not only present symbolically, but actively listened to, responded quickly, and provided solutions as well as direct orders as response to various inputs from the business community. This is what has further strengthened investors\u2019 confidence,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He also assured that the Government will oversee all these commitments to ensure they are promptly realized and deliver tangible impacts on national economic growth, job creation, and improved people\u2019s welfare.
