President Prabowo Subianto Friday (04\/10) witnessed the handover of administrative fines and state financial recoveries, as well as the sixth phase of the reclamation of forest areas, at the Attorney General\u2019s Office complex, Jakarta. This event stands as part of the Government\u2019s effort to strengthen the natural resource governance and to ensure the optimization of the state revenue.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, President Prabowo expressed gratitude over the recovery of state funds and assets during the first 1.5 years of his administration. During that period, the total amount of cash recovered reached Rp31.3 trillion.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn October 2025, we successfully recovered Rp13.255 trillion in state funds in a corruption case related to the provision of facilities for export of crude palm oil and its derivatives. Two months later, in December 2025, we recovered another Rp6.625 trillion. And today, on April 10, we have recovered Rp11.42 trillion,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the Government handed over administrative fines and state financial recoveries totaling Rp11,420,104,815,858. The amount came from several sources, including forestry-related administrative fines worth Rp7.23 trillion, non-tax state revenue from corruption case handling by the Attorney General\u2019s Office amounting to Rp1.96 trillion, tax payments from January to April 2026 totaling Rp967.7 billion, state revenue from tax payments by PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara from January to February 2026 amounting to Rp108.5 billion, and environmental fine revenue worth Rp1.14 trillion.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Task Force for Forest Area Enforcement also reported progress in reclaiming forest land. Since February 2025, the task force has reclaimed 5,888,260.07 hectares of oil palm plantation land and 10,257.22 hectares in the mining sector.<\/p>\n

In total, in this sixth phase the task force restored 254,780.12 hectares of conservation forests, including national parks, to the Ministry of Forestry. The areas are spread across West Kalimantan, Aceh, and West Java. The task force also restored 30,543.4 hectares of reclaimed oil palm plantations to the Ministry of Finance, which will be managed by Danantara through PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin expressed appreciation and gratitude to all involved parties that had worked together to enforce order in forest areas. He emphasized that the law must be enforced strictly and properly, in efforts to maintain national stability.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe state must not lose to mafias that drain Indonesia\u2019s forest wealth for their own enrichment. We must ensure that forests, as a gift from God Almighty, are a blessing owned by the Indonesian citizens and must be managed and preserved for the benefit of the people, not merely for the interests of a select few,\u201d the Attorney General said.<\/p>\n

These strict measures prove definitively that the Government not only focuses on development but also ensures that every bit of the national wealth must be managed justly and transparently for the greatest benefit of all Indonesian people.
