President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated high-level officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (04\/27). These officials include Special Advisor to the President on Communications Hasan Nasbi and Head of the Government Communication Agency Muhammad Qodari. Following the inauguration, they affirmed their commitment to strengthening the government communication strategy to be more effective and well-targeted.<\/p>\n

In a press statement, Hasan explained that as the President\u2019s strategic advisor he is tasked to enhance the direction of government communication in delivering the Government\u2019s essential information. He also emphasized the importance of synergy among various stakeholders, including the Government Communication Agency and Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo deliver public information better, faster, and more understandable, the Government will also eliminate hoaxes,\u201d he said to the media.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Muhammad Qodari noted that the role of Head of the Government Communication Agency is heavy, as many government programs should be made known to the public comprehensively.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a big work, surely, we must collaborate with institutions, agencies, ministries, stakeholders, especially media colleagues, where I have been part of this community for a long time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In addition, Qodari also explained that President Prabowo\u2019s administration has a wide range of fundamental programs. Therefore, it needs a way of communication that is massive and well-coordinated. He also highlighted the media landscape changes, which are more dynamic, especially with the availability of social media, which has a much greater influence on public information.<\/p>\n

\u201cBesides mass media, there are also social media that today also act as a press media, but it has different regulations from the press media, and this is the challenge,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Qodari also emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders, including ministries and institutions, and media persons. He showed optimism that with strong collaboration, the government communication will be more optimal in disseminating policies and programs.
