President Prabowo Subianto breaks ground on 10 National Police Food Security Warehouses and launches 166 Nutrition Service Units (SPPGs) in 2026, in Tuban regency, East Java province, on Saturday (5\/16).<\/p><\/div>\n

President Prabowo Subianto, Saturday (5\/16), broke ground on 10 National Police (Polri) Food Security Warehouses and launched 166 Polri Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) in 2026 in Tuban regency, East Java province. These agenda are part of strengthening national food security and supporting the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) program in Indonesia.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the President inaugurated the construction of 10 units of Polri Food Security Warehouses, type 654, each with a storage capacity of up to 1,000 tons. The warehouses are located in several strategic areas, namely West Sumatra, Riau, and South Sumatra (two units), Bengkulu, Banten, West Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi (two units), and North Maluku.<\/p>\n

In addition to the food warehouse construction, Polri also launched 166 SPPGs across Indonesia to support the community’s nutritional needs and the implementation of MBG program. These SPPGs are located across several regional police forces (Polda), including 39 units in Banten Regional Police, 17 units in North Sumatra Regional Police, 16 units in Central Java Regional Police, 14 units in Jakarta Metropolitan Police, and 8 units for MBG Task Force.<\/p>\n

In his report, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, emphasized that food security and nutritious food provision are essential for building the nation’s future. Therefore, Polri strives to play an active role in supporting Government\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n

“As the President mandated at the inauguration of the Polri\u2019s SPPG in Palmerah, West Jakarta, food production is the continuation of civilization. We understand that food provision is a crucial foundation for building a healthy, strong, and competitive generation. Therefore, synergy among all elements of the nation is necessary,” said the National Police Chief.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in his remarks, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to the Government, Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), and Polri for their continued work to maintain national stability and support various strategic Government programs, including those related to food and community\u2019s nutrition.<\/p>\n

“With all due respect, because they are keys, they are our team, my team, who is working hard along with me to lead this country, control this country and safeguard this country, our people, and all our people’s wealth,” he said.<\/p>\n

The Head of State also expressed special appreciation to the security forces who he said play a significant role in maintaining order in the society. The President emphasized that state officials must continue to work hard to maintain security and order for the benefit of the people.<\/p>\n

“People tend to take the TNI and police for granted if the situation run smoothly and safely. If things go wrong, they are criticized. That is the fate of the authorities, the fate of public servants, and that’s fine. That is our job. Therefore, we must work hard to ensure everything runs safely, orderly, and smoothly,” he concluded.<\/p>\n
