President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto Thursday (05\/28) arrived at the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace, Paris, France for a state visit, marking the series of visit with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.<\/p>\n

As his motorcade traveled from Les Invalides to the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace, President Prabowo received an honorary escort from 27 motorcycle officers and 146 cavalry troops of the French Republic. The welcoming ceremony reflected honor by the French Government to visiting heads of state from friendly nations and symbolized the close ties between Indonesia and France.<\/p>\n

Upon arriving at \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace, President Prabowo was welcomed by a guard of honor, accompanied by military music. He was subsequently welcomed by President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron, followed by a group photo session before the two leaders commenced their official meeting.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo and President Macron are slated to hold a joint press statement, bilateral meeting, and a t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate, aiming at strengthening Indonesia and France strategic partnership in various fields.<\/p>\n
