According to him, the principle is a long-standing legacy of the nation\u2019s founding fathers that remains the key foundation in facing an increasingly dynamic global geopolitical landscape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are fully aware, and I have emphasized this since I was first inaugurated, that Indonesia\u2019s foreign policy remains that of a good neighbor. The good neighbor. Our policy is the policy of the good neighbor. We want to be a good neighbor,\u201d the President stated in his directive during the meeting with central and regional business leaders of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) from across Indonesia at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Friday (07\/31).<\/p>\n<p>The President explained that Indonesia continuously strives to strengthen friendly ties with neighboring countries through dialogue and reconciliation. \u201cI have sought to improve our relations with all of our neighbors. I strive for reconciliation and pursue constructive approach,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The President further reiterated that Indonesia must continue to uphold wisdom, patience, and restraint in responding to global challenges. The Head of State also emphasized that non-aligned foreign policy enables Indonesia to maintain good relations with all strategic partners without aligning itself with any particular power.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWherever I go, I assert that we, Indonesia, are neutral. We respect all powers,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, Indonesia\u2019s consistent implementation of its non-aligned foreign policy has strengthened international confidence in the country.
