President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the newly renovated Pancasila Sanctity Museum in Jakarta on Thursday (10\/1). <\/span><\/p>\n The renovation covered various parts of the museum, including its narrative and storyline, as well as its displays, which are now equipped with digital technology and an immersive experience.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cToday, we also inaugurated the Pancasila Sanctity Museum. This is a historical museum,\u201d Minister of Culture Fadli Zon said after the Pancasila Sanctity Day Ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n According to him, the renovation was carried out to strengthen the museum\u2019s function as a venue for history education. In addition to updating the narrative, the presentation of the collections has been reorganized through a more comprehensive storyline and enhanced with various technological features.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe museum has been renovated, including its narrative, storyline, and displays. It also features digital elements, including digital components in the dioramas, as well as an immersive experience,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n Fadli further said that the timeline and historical context presented to visitors had also been updated. The improvements involved historians to ensure that the narrative presented to the public can be more comprehensive.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere are actually more digital features as well as a more comprehensive narrative. At the time, the narrative was not yet complete, particularly in terms of the sequence and timeline. These have now been completed with the assistance of historians,\u201d Fadli said.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to the exhibition rooms and dioramas, the renovation also covered the relics room, which stores a number of objects associated with the Heroes of the Revolution, including clothing, wristwatches, and other objects. He expressed hope that the collection will help the public understand historical events through objects from the past.<\/span><\/p>\n The renovation began after last year\u2019s Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration. Now that the renovation has been completed, Fadli confirmed that the museum was once again open to the public.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYes, it is now open to the public,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n He also conveyed that President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s direction that historical museums should continue to be maintained, protected, and revitalized so that they will not merely serve as places for storing collections, but also as venues for education and the nation\u2019s collective memory.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe President believes that museums, including historical museums, must be maintained, protected, and revitalized. This process is currently under way, including in the regions, so that museums can also serve as centers for education and learning, as well as places that preserve the nation\u2019s collective memory,\u201d Fadli said.<\/span><\/p>\n Through the revitalization, Pancasila Sanctity Museum is expected to become increasingly relevant to the younger generation.
