The Government has ensured that national fuel stocks remain adequate, with supplies of subsidized Pertalite sufficient for 16-18 days and stocks of other fuel types above the minimum required levels.<\/p>\n
Coordinating Minister for Downstream Industries and Energy Transition and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia made the statement during a plenary cabinet meeting, marking two years of President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s administration, at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, Wednesday (10\/21).<\/p>\n
\u201cOur Pertalite stocks are sufficient for 16 to 18 days, Bapak <\/em>President. This is subsidized oil with an octane rating of 90 RON. Stocks of other fuel types are above the national minimum levels,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Bahlil explained that the fuel shortage in Bali was caused by delayed shipments from East Java, not by insufficient national stocks.<\/p>\n \u201cAlhamdulillah<\/em>, fuel stocks in Bali are now sufficient for 12 days,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The Government also continues to prepare for potential disruptions to energy distribution caused by weather and geographical conditions, including river siltation in Kalimantan region and Papua\u2019s Asmat region. Meanwhile, national LPG stocks are sufficient for an average of 13 days, while stocks of other energy commodities provide more than 20 days of supply.<\/p>\n To strengthen energy procurement governance, Bahlil stated the President had issued a presidential regulation allowing the direct procurement of crude oil, fuel, and LPG under a government-to-government scheme through a public service agency.<\/p>\n \u201cAs for diesel fuel, Pak <\/em>President, alhamdulillah<\/em>, we have stopped the importing CN 48 diesel. However, we still import some CN51 diesel,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The Government also continues to improve the reliability of the national power system to ensure a stable electricity supply across the country.<\/p>\n \u201cLet me report that the power disruption in Batam has been resolved. Our priority now is to ensure that no region experiences rolling blackouts,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n In addition to ensuring a secure energy supply, the Government continues to optimize non-tax state revenue (PNBP) from the energy and mineral resources sectors.<\/p>\n According to Bahlil, the PNBP reached Rp127.74 trillion between January and October 2026, approaching the State Budget target of Rp133.63 trillion. The Government is aiming for a higher total of Rp165 trillion to expand fiscal space, especially for fuel oil subsidies.<\/p>\n \u201cOur goal is to help Minister of Finance cover the shortfall in funding for fuel subsidies. We will reach Rp165 trillion, Pak <\/em>Minister of Finance, generating about Rp30 in the PNBP above the target,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Bahlil also reported strong coal export performance. Although export volume fell to around 343 trillion tons in January and September 2026, down from 343 million tons from 374 million tons in the same period, export value rose from US$21 billion to US$23.71 billion.<\/p>\n \u201cProduction fell, but revenue increased,\u201d he said, referring to the performance of Indonesia\u2019s coal exports.<\/p>\n Nickel exports also recorded growth. Their value reportedly reached about US$24.55 billion in August 2026, up from US$21.22 billion in January\u2013August 2025. This growth underscored the contribution of mineral commodities to national trade.
