S. delivered a press statement after a Limited Meeting, on Friday (8\/1) at the Presidential Office<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Government thinks that North Java\u0092s flight route, i.e. Jakarta-Surabaya, is very busy. It reaches 150 flights\/day. This route is now at number 11 of the world\u0092s busiest route in the world. Meanwhile in Bali, the traffic is 170 flights\/day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, a limited meeting led by President Joko Widodo on Friday (8\/1) afternoon suggested to relocate the training of the Indonesian National Defence Forces (TNI) so that it is not concentrated in air bases in Java, such as in Madiun, Yogya, and Malang.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0093The location of several trainings will be relocated outside Java, whether in Kalimantan or Papua. Of course, the proposal comes from the Air Force\u0092s Chief of Staff or Deputy Chief of Staff,\u0094 the Cabinet Secretary, Pramono Anung, said to the journalists after the limited meeting at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Friday (8\/1) afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister of Transportation Ignasius Jonan added that the limited meeting also discussed the utilization of South route in Java Island.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0093So, the deal withTNI is if the air space at South of Java is not used, it will be used by TNI and it will be arranged to be flexible so that it can also be used for civil flights, particularly from western part of Java, Jakarta, and Bali,\u0094 Jonan said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding civil enclave airports, according to Jonan, it will be regulated together with the Air Force so that it can be used to increase the capacity or slot time for non-military flights when it is not used or in an emergency situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Training Relocation<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, the Air Force\u0092s Deputy Chief of Staff (Wakasau), Marsekal Madya (Air Marshal) Hadiyan Sumintaatmadja said that Iswahyudi Air Force Base in Madiun is a military air base that is used for military acitivities and also civil flights. The relocation means to relocate the training of the Air Force\u0092s soldiers not to relocate the air base.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0093I explained to the President that the Air Force wants to deploy our combat aircrafts, especially in seven air bases excluding the home base. Excluding the home base means excluding Iswahyudi, Malang, and Makassar based,\u0094 Hadiyan said.
