Jakarta<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Government is preparing two legal basis namely Presidential Regulation (Perpres) and Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) on the prevention and handling of child abuse crimes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0093The President has agreed to issue a Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) and a Presidential Regulation (Perpres),\u0094 Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said in a press statement after a Limited Meeting at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday (20\/1) afternoon. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Pramono, the Presidential Regulation to be issued is on the prevention and handling of child abuse crimes in educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0093So far, as the Ministry of Education and Culture reported, when a child abuse case occurs, people only do two things: either neglect it or report it to the police,\u0094 Pramono said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, in the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu), Pramono added, it states that the perpetrators of sexual crimes against children will be castrated as the punishment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0093The President asked us to study this issue because we know there are pros and cons among the
