The President is ready to announce it\u0094 Minister of Home Affairs Thahjo Kumolo said in a working meeting with the House of Representatives Commission I on Wednesday (8\/6), in Jakarta.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Two teams, namely Ministry of Home Affairs and provincial governments are in charge of screening the thousands of bylaws.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the President has given a July deadline for Tjahjo Kumolo to scrap 3,000 bylaws that are considered against the law, detrimental to permit, and imposing several tariffs to the people.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093Don\u0092t evaluate the regulations. Last year I instructed the Home Affairs Ministry to evaluate them. In one month, they evaluated only seven regulations,\u0094 the President said.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093If we have to evaluate 3,000 regulations, how long will it take?<\/p>\n<p>\u0093We don\u0092t have to evaluate them again; we must eliminate them,\u0094 he said.<\/p>\n<p>Tjahjo Kumolo also shared the same view with the President. The bylaws that will be announced are those considered detrimental to the investment, permit, and retribution.
