President Joko Widodo and Prime Minister John Key are conducting troops inspection at Merdeka Palace\u0092s yard, Jakarta (18\/7)<\/p><\/div>\n

President Joko Widodo received the visit of the Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key and his spouse Bronagh Key at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (18\/7) afternoon.<\/p>\n

\u0093I am honored to receive the visit of Prime Minister Key as well as the delegates, and to have a meeting with him,\u0094 the President said at the opening of bilateral meeting at the Palace, on Monday (18\/7) afternoon.<\/p>\n

The President said that he really appreciates this visit which brings 22 CEOs from various companies in New Zealand.<\/p>\n

\u0093This meeting is a manifestation of New Zealand\u0092s intention to continue to strengthen our relations particularly in economic sector. Indonesia has the same commitment to strengthen bilateral relations including the cooperation in renewable energy and livestock sectors.\u0094<\/p>\n

There was a new tradition at the welcoming ceremony. There were horsemen and nusantara<\/em> troops parade taken place at Jalan Merdeka Utaraas well as a number of junior high school and senior high school students were hoisting small national flags of both countries.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, President Joko Widodo was accompanied by First Lady Ibu <\/em>Iriana Joko Widodo, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Luhut B. Pandjaitan, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Defense Ryamizard Ryacudu, Minister of Education and Culture Anies Baswedan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said, Minister of Trade Thomas Lembong, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Yuddy Chrisnandi, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti, Indonesian National Police Chief Tito Karnavian, Minister of Forestry and Environment Siti Nurbaya, Indonesian National Defence Forces Commander Gen.
