Hopefully, I can make achievements,\u0094 Sri Mulyani said to the journalists after the inauguration of the Ministers of Working Cabinet, at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (27\/7) afternoon.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Sri Mulyani promised she will do the best to make the President\u0092s program successful. She will see the budget structure, political as well as legal achievements, the plans that have been drawn up by the previous Minister and try to achieve them as good as possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093Because it has been six years. I will see the budget structure, the achievements made by <em>Pak <\/em>Bambang, and the agreements\u00a0 with the House of Representatives (DPR). Moreover, in order to manage the economy, the efforts to create employment and to eradicate poverty must be handled seriously so that it can create economic growth and get people\u0092s trust,\u0094 Sri Mulyani added.<\/p>\n<p>The former Minister of Finance at President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono administrationsaid that she will use all Government\u0092s instruments, such as budget, policies, and measures in order to accelerate economic activities thus the economy can survive from shocks or pressure particularly from this difficult global environment.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side, she will continue to strengthen our economic foundation both from private sector and government sides, she added.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093I think it is the most important issue that I will pay attention to in seeing the whole aspect of the State Budget and the activities of the budget as well as fiscal policies that have been or will be set,\u0094 she added.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding her position at the World Bank, Sri Mulyani explained that last night the President of World Bank had told all Board of Directors (BoD) her resignation from the World Bank and accepted the offer from President Joko Widodo to become a Minister of Finance.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093They understand the importance to strengthen Indonesia\u0092s economy. The World Bank sees Indonesia as one of the countries that is expected to achieve two goals that are also in line with the goals of the World Bank, i.e. to eradicate poverty and to accelerate the process of equity welfare particularly in under 40 percent group,\u0094 she said.
