President Joko \u0092Jokowi\u0092 Widodo has instructed Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs to collect all forms relating to permits.<\/p>\n

\u0093We know that those forms are the source of complicated permit procedure that can actually be made more simple. The long procedures are the result of a complex permit,\u0094 Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung told reporters after a limited meeting on Tuesday (23\/8) at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

According to Pramono, Vice President Jusuf Kalla once shared his experiences and also President Jokowi\u0092s experiences when acting as witness in a wedding. To become the witness in the wedding, they have to sign 5 times.<\/p>\n

\u0093After reading the marriage form, they noticed that it is complicated. The form requires permission from the first wife, second wife, and so on. This is a reflection of a complicated permit procedure,\u0094 Pramono said.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Pramono added, the President has instructed Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, and Cabinet Secretary to make an inventory of all forms relating permits.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the President also decided to approve the suggestion from Head of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) to form a task force that will support one-stop integrated service (PTSP) at central and regional levels.<\/p>\n

However, PTSP at regional level is under the authority of Minister of Home Affairs, it needs a more detailed regulation so that the BKPM can carry on its task on the ground.<\/p>\n

President Jokowi also instructed him to coordinate each Ministerial Regulation, Ministerial Notice, and other documents first, Pramono Anung further said.<\/p>\n

\u0093They must obtain a permit from a coordinating meeting at coordinating ministry level at minimum,\u0094 Pramono said.<\/p>\n

We shared the same spirit when we scrapped more than 3,000 bylaws. This time, the President ordered Cabinet Secretary to make an inventory of all Ministerial Regulations, Ministerial Notices, as well as other documents that considered detrimental to the people, Pramono added.<\/p>\n

For example, Minister of Agriculture cannot lower the price of meat because Agriculture Minister Notice regulates about frozen meat and intestine. These are several Ministerial Notices that are considered detrimental.<\/p>\n

\u0093Without any presupposition, the Ministerial Notices are detrimental to the Government to lower the price of meat,\u0094 Pramono said adding that documents considered detrimental to the people will be scrapped.<\/p>\n

\u0093Cabinet Secretary will make an inventory of the documents and report it to the President and Vice President.
