President Jokowi Performs Friday Prayer at Cyclone Affected Village in E. Nusa Tenggara

After inspecting the cyclone-affected area of Amakaka Village, Ile Ape District, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, on Friday (09/04), performed Friday Prayer with his entourage and local residents.

Upon arrival at the Babul Jannah Mosque, a mosque located in the village, President Jokowi performed ablution and sunnah prayer. After the congregational Friday prayer, the President led a jama‘ prayer (combining two obligatory prayers).

Also joining the prayers congregation were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Head of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Doni Monardo, and Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) ​Henri Alfiandi.
