President Jokowi to Inspect Rice Harvest, Smelter in South Sulawesi

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Thursday (03/30) is slated to continue his working visit to South Sulawesi province.

In the morning, the President will visit Maros regency to inspect rice harvest activities before checking food supply at Bulog Batangase Warehouse.

After the inspection, the President will take off to Sorowoko Airport in East Luwu regency onboard aviation company PT Pelita Air Service’s ATR 42-500 from Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base in Maros regency.

Upon arrival, the President is set to visit Malindungi Traditional Market to hand over social assistance to beneficiaries.

Afterwards, the President is scheduled to inspect mining and nickel processing company PT Vale Indonesia Tbk’s mine and smelter, and to inaugurate its Sawergading Wallacea Kehati Park.

In the afternoon, the President will return to Jakarta from Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (HS/DH)
