As previously reported, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, on Wednesday (19/7), has issued a Decree to revoke legal entity status of HTI. The decision was made after government institutions who are in the domain of politics, law, and security have coordinated.

“This decision is a follow up of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2017 that regulates prosecution and sanction to mass organizations whose activities against the values of Pancasila and Indonesia’s law,” said Director General for Public Law Administration Freddy Harris, in a press release on Wednesday (19/7) morning.
