President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (7/1) conferred national honors upon members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) during the 80^th Bhayangkara Day Commemoration Ceremony. The award ceremony was held at the Nagara Janottama Parade Ground, Mobile Brigade Corps (Korbrimob) Training Center, Bogor regency, West Java province.

During the ceremony, President Prabowo officially conferred the Nugraha Sakanti Honorary Decoration, the Bintang Bhayangkara Nararya Medal, and Honorary Rank Promotion. These awards were granted pursuant to Presidential Decrees (Keppres) No. 37/TK/2026, No. 38/TK/2026, and No. 55/POLRI/2026 on the conferral of the Nugraha Sakanti Honorary Decoration, the Bintang Bhayangkara Nararya Medal, and honorary rank promotion.

The Nugraha Sakanti Honorary Decoration was awarded to 11 police units, namely:

1. Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya);
2. West Java Regional Police;
3. North Sumatra Regional Police;
4. Riau Regional Police;
5. Lampung Regional Police;
6. Central Java Regional Police;
7. Banten Regional Police;
8. Central Kalimantan Regional Police;
9. East Java Regional Police;
10. Police Legal Division (Divkum Polri); and
11. Police Finance Center (Puskeu Polri).

In addition, the President awarded the Bintang Bhayangkara Nararya Medal to three recipients:

1. Senior Commissioner of Police (Kombes Pol.) Ach. Prasetiyo Adhi Wibowo, Level III Senior Police Instructor at the Police Education and Training Institute (Sespim Lemdiklat Polri);
2. Police First Inspector (AKP) Nengsi Marline Waromy, Head of Administration and General Affairs, West Papua Regional Police; and
3. Police First Brigadier (Aiptu) Wawan Setiyawan, Protocol Subsection Officer, Administrative Services Unit, Korbrimob Training Center.

Meanwhile, Honorary Rank Promotions were bestowed upon three retired senior police officers in recognition of their exceptional service, dedication, and contributions to the nation. The recipients were:

1. Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Sidarto Danusubroto, promoted to Honorary Commissioner General of Police;
2. Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Taufiequrachman Ruki, promoted to Honorary Commissioner General of Police; and
3. Brigadier General of Police (Ret.) Taufiq Effendi, promoted to Honorary Inspector General of Police.

The conferral of these national honors and honorary promotions reflects the nation’s appreciation for members of the Bhayangkara Corps who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, integrity, loyalty, and service in maintaining public security, upholding the rule of law, and serving the Indonesian people.
