President Prabowo Subianto Leads Coordination Meeting with Ministers and State Officials at Widya Chandra

President Prabowo Subianto Friday (1/2) held a meeting with several ministers and state officials at his official residence in Widya Chandra, Jakarta.

The meeting, which lasted from afternoon until evening, discussed various government matters.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement issued on Friday evening (1/2) stated that the President received Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, along with several members of the Red and White Cabinet.

“From this afternoon until evening, President Prabowo held a meeting with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya at the President’s official residence in Widya Chandra, Friday, January 2, 2026,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy stated in a written release.

According to Teddy, the President discussed several strategic agendas during the meeting, including a report from Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who also serves as Chair of the House’s Post-Disaster Recovery Task Force.

The report outlined the progress of reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts in three disaster-affected provinces in Sumatra.

“The meeting discussed Prof. Dasco’s report, in his capacity as Chair of the House of Representatives’ Post-Disaster Recovery Task Force, concerning the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts in three provinces in Sumatra,” Teddy said.

The President, Teddy added, also gave special assignments to each meeting participant at the start of the year and these assignments form part of the Government’s efforts to ensure the effective implementation of national priority agendas from the outset.

“Each meeting participant received special assignments from the President at the beginning of the year,” Cabinet Secretary said.

The meeting reflected President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to strengthening cross-agency coordination and ensuring the accelerated handling of national strategic issues, particularly post-disaster recovery and the implementation of priority government programs at the start of 2026.
